a new album by me has just been released:
"Life 2.0"
This is my 13th self-produced album.
After two orchestral concepts, here it is again a collection of songs featuring different genres such as progressive rock, space rock and jazz, but still with a concept which relates them together: new life.

This is my 12th self-produced album. It is an orchestral suite based on the idea of a visitor in a museum who, while walking through the paintings showing not so much interest, gets stuck in front of a painting on a corner of which, the face of a devil starts looking at him.
The visitor feels like he is being "sucked" into the painting and a very strange and uncomfortable voyage begins..

last.fm
has announced that, since March the 30th, its radio streaming service will require a subscription fee of 3€/£/$ per month.
I'm not against pay sites; I acknowledge that running a site such as last.fm costs money and these money cannot be refund through advertising only, but what really bothers me is the fact that users from USA, UK and Germany will still not require paying, because in these 3 nations last.fm already pays its bill…

I finally decided to change the design of
my website to something more “serious”. There is no big decision behind this change, I just needed something a bit easier to mantain, so I decided to use LoudBlog platform. You can still access the old pink-green interface: tt will be still updated since it shares the same database.

Renoise, the music composition software I use and of which I am part of the developing team, has just reached version 2.0beta. In the installation file there is a new demo song made by me.
For those who care just about how it sounds, the OGG version can be downloaded from:

It is a electronic rock song with a strong progressive flavour.

A new album by It-Alien is available for free on
Jamendo.com and
Last.fm.
For the first time (and probably the only one), I have released an album in which all songs are nearly the same genre, which is contemporary classical.
This release is indeed an orchestral concept album about returning to places, finding changes in nature and humanity.
