Dopo anni di intensa attività live come cover band di spettacolo, all’inizio del 2006 in un piccolo paese vicino a Riva Del Garda (Trento), nasce il progetto inedito E V O L U T I O N dalla fraterna unione di CAMI CANINI (carismatica, coinvolgente ed energica front e motore degli E V O L U T I O N) e ANTONIO BIANCHI (potente ed eclettico batterista), per consolidarsi definitivamente con
l'inserimento dapprima dell’essenziale figura di MOWO (Wolfgang Moser) (produttore, compositore, arrangiatore e chitarrista di Bressanone) e poi all’inizio del 2007, con GIACOMO CAGNETTI (geniale e talentuoso tastierista, compositore, arrangiatore e produttore di San Benedetto del Tronto).

Cami nasce a Riva del Garda, dove è ritornata dopo varie esperienze all’estero e qualche cambio di dimora…. stufa della routine di anni di palchi in cover band che ormai non avevano più emozioni da regalarle, decide di esternare tutto quanto ha raccolto nella sua vita musicale (e non solo), facendo nascere questo progetto così particolare e alternativo. E’ una delle poche cantautrici italiane a scrivere quasi tutti i testi delle sue canzoni in inglese, “il mio più grande desiderio è di riuscire a comunicare attraverso la Musica tutto ciò che nessun
altro linguaggio riesce ad esprimere”.

All'inizio del 2008 il primo CD demo della band contente 8 tracce abbozzate per far conoscere più che altro la loro musica tramite My Space (dove nel giro di pochissimo tempo la band raccoglie forti consensi da parte dei migliaia di persone da tutto il mondo!), finisce per puro caso nelle mani dell’italiana Dabliu Sound che ne rimane particolarmente colpita e propone la produzione e
pubblicazione del loro primo full-lenght L’APPARENZA contenente 14 tracce inedite, pubblicato da Baccano Edizioni, registrato, arrangiato e prodotto da Giacomo Cagnetti e Mowo e masterizzato da Armin Rainer (James Rec).

Insieme a CAMI e ANTO altri 2 grandi musicisti italiani “ben rodati”: DEMA (Andrea Demasi) alla chitarra e cori e CRIS (Cristian Postal) al basso e cori, completano la formazione live creando così una BAND UNICA nel suo genere, carica di EMOZIONI, VIBRAZIONI…. ed ENERGIA!

E V O L U T I O N significa EVOLUZIONE DEL ROCK con sonorità elettroniche moderne, che porta le loro canzoni su un piano completamente differente: testi e musiche che arrivano dritti nell’anima e nel cuore di chi li ascolta……… sonorità ricercate, grintose, moderne, sperimentali e un Live Show ricco di EMOZIONI e ADRENALINA!
……..che non potrete fare a meno di lasciarvi travolgere e coinvolgere!!!

The POP-ROCK POWER blent to the latest ELECTRONIC music: this is the unique and unmistakable sound which marks E V O L U T I O N !

After years of hundreds of live concerts as a cover band, at the beginning of 2006 in a small village near Riva Del Garda (Lake Garda-Italy), E V O L U T I O N project was born from the fraternal union between CAMI CANINI (charismatic, involving engine of E V O L U T I O N, a Powerlady on stage and you can not hide
yourself from her voice and spirit...) and ANTONIO BIANCHI (powerful and eclectic drummer), to definitively consolidate it with the essential came in of MOWO (Wolfgang Moser) (producer, arranger, composer and guitarist from Brixen/Bozen) and then at the beginning of 2007 with GIACOMO CAGNETTI (brilliant and talented keyboardist, producer and composer from San Benedetto del Tronto).

Cami was born in Riva del Garda, where she came back after various experiences abroad and some change of residence… tired of the usual routine of years of cover band-stage that no longer had to give her emotions, she decides to express all the feelings gathered during (but not only) her music life and gave birth to this incredibly special and alternative product. Cami is one of the very few Italian songwriter writing almost all of her lyrics in English.

At the beginning of 2008 the first demo-CD of the band containing 8 sketchy tracks done just to promote their music through My Space (where within a very short time the band collected strong consensus by thousands people from all over the world!), pure case ends up in the hands of Italian indie label Dabliu Sound, which remains particularly striked and proposes to the band the production of their first stunning album L’APPARENZA containing 14 tracks, published by Baccano Edizioni, recorded, arranged and produced by Giacomo Cagnetti and Mowo, mastered by Armin Rainer (James Rec).

EVOLUTION’s first album is a pure blend of warm melodies, sharp riffs, powerful voice and incredible energy.

Together with CAMI and ANTO other 2 talented Italian musicians: DEMA (Andrea Demasi) on the guitar & background vocals and CRIS (Cristian Postal) on the bass & background vocals, complete the “live line up” to get a UNIQUE LIVE BAND, rich of EMOTIONS, ENERGY and FUN!

Successfully crowding all the places of the region, shows after shows E V O L U T I O N have won the reputation of being a solid live band making powerful, massive and extremely professional concerts.
