Profile Information

About Me:: Mrs. Ingram are an Alternative and Progressive Rock band from Cittadella (PD), Italy, formed by Alice De Rossi (lead voice), Giulio Michelon (guitar), Riccardo Gelain (bass guitar) and Andrea Tombolato (drums). The band is still active.

Founded in the summer of 2007 by Riccardo Gelain and Jacopo Cervato (guitar), the duo became a trio with the support of Giulio Michelon; they started playing their own songs and the most played one was Dreamland, the first self-writed song. Andrea Tombolato entered the group in winter, and with the drums the group started to play, more seriously, songs of famous rock bands. Without singing. They used to change the name of the band every week, but the final name, Mrs. Ingram, arrived in the spring of 2008, by an “idea” (it was just the subject of a sentence) of their English teacher. In June Alice De Rossi became the singer, and their covers became more powerful. They wrote other songs too: Dreamland was rejected, and Cut Down The Tree was composed. In September Jacopo left the band, rock music wasn’t alright for him, he preferred Progressive Rock and Doom Metal; so he started a one-man band project. Mrs. Ingram procceded composing new songs and covering others, and played in many concerts near their city, waiting for their Woodstock.

Vi segnalo che nel sito www.radionotizie.it/blog, è presente una sezione che si occupa dei nuovi artisti, ed è possibile inserire al suo interno anche Voi. Ma vediamo come funziona il nostro servizio.

Il meccanismo che abbiamo ideato è molto semplice, e si basa essenzialmente su due princìpi: fare promozione e dare visibilità ad artisti e case discografiche.

La visibilità è garantita dalla realizzazione di una scheda tecnica per ogni membro del progetto, artista o casa di produzione che sia.

In ogni scheda tecnica sono presentati poi brevi note sul "titolare" della scheda, e i pezzi scelti per la "vetrina".

La promozione è effettuata attraverso le oltre 200 emittenti della "Community" di Radionotizie, che possono scaricare gratis i pezzi messi in "vetrina".

Ogni emittente rilascia, per poter effettuare il download della musica, un documento in cui attesta il numero di passaggi che dedicherà al brano scaricato.

Con questo sistema, artisti e discografici sapranno quante volte e da quali radio i loro pezzi sono stati trasmessi.

Le potenzialità di ciò sono evidenti, basti considerare che molti artisti ricevono proventi per Diritti d'Autore in base al numero di volte e in cui il loro brano è stato trasmesso.

In ogni caso, questo sistema è destinato a incrementare sia la diffusione della musica, sia l'affermazione di tanti nuovi talenti meritevoli.

Per l'esposizione di un solo pezzo non si spende nulla: è tutto gratuito. Se invece desiderate inserire più pezzi, c'è un minimo (ma davvero "minimo") costo di registrazione.
