At 3:36pm on September 6, 2009, THE SONS OF HARMONY said…: The Sons of Harmony were formed in the summer of 1999, by some of the members who were in drug & alcohol addiction rehabilitation in Baltimore,Md.

Their struggle with addiction have made them most sensitive to the plight of the homeless and the addict, wherever or whatever the addiction may be.

The forming of the group was also a direct result of their christian up bringing their love for gospel music and it's impact upon them throughtout their lives.

Their trials and struggles have burned a deeper desire to witness, and to serve as living testimonies to the power of God's grace and forgiveness in their lives.

They involve themselves in performing and taking their testimonies to at senior citzen, drug rehabilitation, prisons. they lend thier talents to assisst in causes such as building funds, homelessness, feeding the hungry, drug rehabilitation. Members of the group include Deacon Judson Kerr, Deacon Levi Moore, Minister Phil Morgan, and manager Bro.Delroy Smith who also is persuing the ministry.

In 2007 they were awarded the Fred Newsome Award for "Best Acapella Group of the Year" followed by the recording and upcoming Oct 6th 2009 release of their debut album "Working On A Building"

Circumstances and plans change, but the vision for the group remains the same..."make ye disciples of all men"
