Valentina Del Giudice (Judie) was born in Naples in 1980 into a family of well-known muscians and poets. In 1994 she started playing live, offering the delicate intimacy of her compositions, fruit of her on-the-road diaries, to enthusiastic audiences in festivals and music competitions in various Italian cities. Inspired by the likes of Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley, Judie has proved her worth with her gritty and evocative live performances, her folk-rock world with a blues soul. In 2006 she left Italy and set up home in France (for Love...let it be said!) In her new home and with her new Trio - Nicolas Diem on drums and Ded Lagarde on bass - she has infused her music with new sounds, rhythms and atmospheres. Judie has not severed her links with Italy, however, returning to Naples in March 2007 to record three tracks for the upcoming album of violinist Edo Notarloberti (Ashram) and the young pianist Martina Mollo (Rua Port'Alba).

Valentina Del Giudice (Judie) nasce a Napoli nel 1980 da una famiglia di grandi musicisti e poeti. Nel 1994 comincia a suonare dal vivo, offrendo l’intimità delicata delle sue composizioni, nate da un diario di viaggio della sua vita, ad un pubblico entusiasto nei festival e concorsi di musica in diverse città italiane. Ispirata da grandi come Nick Drake e Jeff Buckley, Judie si è affermata con i suoi grintosi e evocativi concerti, il suo mondo folk-rock con un'anima blues. Nel 2006 Judie ha lasciato l’Italia e si è stabilita nella Francia (per Amore...diciamola!) Nella sua nuova casa e con il suo nuovo Trio - Nicolas Diem alla batteria e Ded Lagarde al basso - ha intriso la sua musica di nuovi suoni, ritmi e atmosfere. Non ha tagliato il suo legame con l’Italia, comunque, ritornando a Napoli nel marzo 2007 per registrare tre brani per il prossimo album del violinista Edo Notarloberti (Ashram) e la giovane pianista Martina Mollo (Rua Port'Alba).

Valentina Del Giudice (ou Judie), naît à Naples en 1980 d’une famille de grands musiciens, poètes.
Dés 1994 elle commence son parcours musical, seule avec sa guitare, l’intimisme de ses compositions prend une allure d’un carnet de voyage, celui de sa vie…
Elle aime voyager, ce qui lui a permis de se faire connaitre au tour de l’Italie, grâce aussi aux plusieurs tremplins gagnés et sorties en radio.
En 2006 Judie quitte son pays pour s’établir en France, où son projet solo tourne en la faveur d’un Trio, accompagnée par Ded Lagarde à la basse et Nicolas Diem à la batterie.
Une touche rythmique apportera à ses compositions une puissante fraicheur aux accents Rock Alternatif.
On retrouve aussi sa voix et ses mélodies en collaboration avec le violoniste Edo Notarloberti dans l’album « Silent Prayer » pour le label italien Ark Records,
ce qui a confirmé et consacré Judie comme musicienne totalement polyvalente.
