About Me:

Dressed in Black was born in Rome on september 2007 from an idea of the original Maybe Global member Mario Scappaticci. The first aim was to propose a martial industrial mixing Einsturzende Neubauten and MZ412 characteristic sounds; anyway the increasing passion for electro, dark and ambient sounds and the indeniable influence of bands such as Ulver (the project's name wants to be a tribute to this group), Hocico, Suicide Commando, Burzum, Tangerine Dream and Proteus 911 have turned Dressed in Black's production into other horizons. DiB's debut "Ruins of the Berlin's wall EP" came out on February 2008, anticipating the full-lenght "The Last Sight" released on Avril 2008 (available for free on the web without any label transition). The industrial parts expected by the original project are still massively present, but now joined by a marked ambient and melodic vein turning every track into a real soundtrack (almost a concept) so as to give "The Last Sight" a strongly evocative temper.
